Didn’t know this was called a rubber tree until a few minutes before I posted this (didn’t know what a rubber tree was…). But, THIS rubber tree is located just outside of Recoleta Cemetary in Buenos Aires. Its monstrous canopy provides an incredible amount of shade for the Plaza Francia and La Biela (a popular terrace). It provided us with a nice and relaxing break, after a few hours of walking in sweltering heat. Loved it.
Fun facts: It’s known as the Gran Gomero, was planted in 1878, and it’s 50m wide.
